Refund & Cancellation Policy

Suhani Memorial Trust accepts secure online donations via Razorpay. Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making a donation.
1. Online Donations
Suhani Memorial Trust accepts online donations securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
All donations are voluntary charitable contributions processed in real time. If you have any concerns about a payment, please contact us directly.
2. General Refund Policy
All donations made to Suhani Memorial Trust are voluntary charitable contributions. As a general rule, donations are non-refundable once processed, as funds are committed towards patient support and charitable activities.
3. Eligible Refund Cases
Refunds will be considered only in the following circumstances:
• Duplicate payment - the same donation was processed more than once due to a technical error
• Erroneous transaction - an incorrect amount was deducted due to a payment gateway error
• Unauthorized transaction - a payment was made without the account holder's knowledge or consent
Refund requests based on a change of mind will not be entertained once funds have been allocated towards our charitable work.
4. How to Request a Refund

Please include the following details:
• Full name as used during the donation
• Transaction/Payment ID (from your Razorpay receipt)
• Date and amount of the transaction
• Reason for the refund request
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a valid refund request is received, we will:
• Acknowledge your request within 2 working days
• Verify the transaction with Razorpay
• Process approved refunds within 7-10 working days
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card). Bank processing times may vary.
6. Cancellation Policy
Once a donation payment is successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled.
If a payment was initiated but failed or was not completed, no amount will be deducted. Please check with your bank if you notice any unexpected pending charges.
7. 80G Tax Receipts
Once the donation feature is live, 80G receipts will be issued for eligible donations. If a refund is processed for a donation for which an 80G receipt was already issued, the receipt will be void and must not be used for tax filing.
